On June 7, 2013, homeowners recieved a letter from the Alderwood Water & Wastewater District announcing construction on Picnic Point Rd. Earlier this spring, emergency construction replaced a small section of the road sewer at the top of Picnic Point Road. This portion of the road sewer was in danger of failure and needed to be replaced immediately. Later this summer, and extending into the fall, the remaider of the road sewer will be replaced. They will be using a trenchless method of construction that will minimize surface impact. However, as with the earlier construction, there will be some lane closures during this process along Picnic Point Road and on 140th Stree S.W. Please allow for delays.
